Salary to £45,000 pa

Permanent Days – Monday to Friday 

Location: Berkshire

Great opportunity to join a food manufacturing business that operate from a state-of-the-art production facility. This business has invested significantly in new production machinery, with further investment in production lines imminent, giving an Engineer joining them plenty to get involved with.

Typical duties for the appointed Maintenance Engineer:
Maintain Production and Packaging Machinery;

• Assist with CAPEX Engineering projects;
• Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules;
• Respond to Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns;
• Optimise machinery efficiency/continues improvement initiatives;
• Replace Machinery Parts and liaise with spare part suppliers;
• Work closely with Production on continuous improvement projects;
• Carry out Production changeovers ensure production equipment is set correctly;
• Help implement a new engineering system to include stores management, plan maintenance;
• Follow Health & Safety, GMP and Standard Operating Procedures;
• Carrying out facilities engineering on the fabric of the building.

Suitable applicants will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Maintenance Engineering or Production Engineering within Manufacturing;
• A Multi-Skilled Engineer (solid Mechanical & Electrical skills);
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits:

• Circa £45,000 pa plus regular pay reviews;
