A leading Food Manufacturing company and manufacturer of quality branded products is seeking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong Electrical skills. Typical duties for the Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights (12-hour shifts).
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-speed production and packaging machinery.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns.
  • Supporting the development of planned maintenance schedules.
  • Supporting site Projects (machinery refurbishments and new installations).
  • Maintenance Engineer will carry out Electrical and mechanical installations.
  • Ensuring correct set up of production lines to maximise output.
  • Continuous Improvement activities, including leading improvement initiatives.
  • Work proactively to improve production efficiencies by reducing changeover times, and minimising downtime.

The person

  • We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong Electrical Engineering skills.
  • Maintenance Engineering experience gained within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.
  • Good PLC Fault-Finding skills.
  • Experienced working on Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • HNC or HND Qualified.
