Maintenance Engineer

Basic salary of £46,200 pa
12hr Days (6am to 6pm)

With exponential growth on the horizon, a privately owned manufacturing company is looking to add two new Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to its expanding engineering team. 

Located in the Powys region of Wales, this company produces award-winning products used by many UK households and sold nationally by the major retailers and independent stores.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, typical responsibilities will include:

• Responding safely and swiftly to machinery breakdowns
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities (PPM’s)
• Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding and repairs
• Supporting engineering initiatives to minimise waste and downtime across the site
• Support new machinery installation and equipment refurbishment projects

To be considered for these positions, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• A multi-skilled engineer with hands-on mechanical and electrical experience
• Holds recognised engineering qualifications
• Can-Do Attitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Working Hours/Pattern:

• 12hr Day Shifts (No Nights)
• 6am to 6pm
• Working Pattern = 2 on - 2 off, 3 on - 2 off, 2 on - 3 off
• Working 1 in 2 Weekends.
