We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to become part of a forward-thinking manufacturing company with a proud legacy that extends over a century.

Within a dynamic work setting, the accomplished Maintenance Engineer will be exposed to a wide array of systems, including advanced process plant, production equipment, and packaging machinery.

Job Summary:

The Multi Skilled Engineer will play a pivotal role in the engineering department, ensuring the efficient operation of their equipment and systems. This role requires a good understanding of both electrical and mechanical maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for line changes, preventive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting site improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Responding safely and swiftly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
• Ensuring correct setup of all production lines to maximise output.

Working Hours:

• Working week is 4.5 days
• Monday – Thursday (alternating biweekly: 6am – 4:30pm / 7am – 5:30pm)
• Friday: 6am – 12pm (Every fourth Friday off)

• Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
• PLC troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.
• Strong fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with plant installation and modifications.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

Benefits:

• Salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
• 28.5 days of annual leave.
