About the Position:

Days Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm.

  • Reporting the to the Engineering Manager.Conduct Electrical and Mechanical maintenance across a busy manufacturing site.
  • Working on high-speed production and packaging machinery, including conveyors, material handling, chillers, metal detectors, vacuum packing machines, and more.
  • Responding to machinery breakdowns.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
  • Improving machinery efficiency and reducing production downtime.
  • Get involved with the installation and commissioning of new plant and machinery.

About the Person:

  • We welcome applications from Engineers with experience from a variety of industries, such as: Food and Drink Manufacturing, Building Materials Manufacturing, Chemicals, Saw Mill, Pharmaceuticals, Military, Consumer Goods Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Electro-mechanical etc.
  • Good experience of maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Strong fault diagnostic skills.
  • Takes a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement.
  • Time served Electrical Engineer with recognised qualifications.
  • This role may appeal to a Military trained Engineer, seeking a role outside of the military where they will receive training.   

Basic Salary between £40,000 to £42,000 pa (dependant on experience), plus Paid Overtime & Company Pension.
